Riley McEacharn

Administrator

Riley began her career in substance abuse as a residential technician in 2016, following her graduation from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Later that same year, she earned her certification as a Counselor-in-Training and began the process of becoming a Registered Addiction Counselor through LA-ADRA. Over the next three years, she gained valuable experience as a counselor and is now the Facility Administrator at Second Chances, where she oversees operations and supports both staff and clients in their recovery journeys. Riley is also pursuing her master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

Riley has extensive experience working with individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring psychological disorders through residential programs, intensive outpatient programs, and sober-living homes for women. Her counseling approach is rooted in Gestalt Therapy, which emphasizes personal responsibility and identifying unhealthy belief systems. By fostering increased awareness, she helps clients set attainable goals for healing from past trauma and developing healthier coping skills for the future.

Riley’s own spiritual and emotional recovery journey began in January 2014, igniting her passion to help others find similar healing. She is dedicated to seeing individuals achieve restoration through personal growth, community support, and family connections.
