Kewanna Williams, RN

Director of Nursing

Williams brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to her role, starting her career as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant in long-term care facilities right after high school in 1997. After several years in Human Resources, she discovered her true passion for nursing and returned to the field, graduating from Louisiana Delta Community College with her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree in May 2019.

In 2020, Williams began working at a local rehab facility as an LPN, where she quickly developed a passion for addiction rehabilitation. She joined Second Chances as an LPN in 2022, seeking opportunities for growth and a greater impact. In May 2023, she temporarily left to further her education in the fast-track LPN-to-RN program at the University of Arkansas-Monticello, graduating in May 2024 with an associate’s degree in nursing. She passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) the following month, officially becoming a Registered Nurse.
