Originally from Winnsboro, Louisiana, Ashley was inspired to pursue a career in addiction recovery after seeing the impact alcoholism had on her grandfather. Wanting to better understand what he experienced led her to study psychology and counseling and ultimately dedicate her career to helping others find hope and healing.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2023 and her Master’s degree in Counseling in 2026. After joining Second Chances as a counseling intern in May 2025, she transitioned into a full-time Counselor (PLPC) in April 2026.

In her role, Ashley leads group sessions, meets with clients individually, and works alongside the clinical team to support each person’s recovery journey. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing clients grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and begin to believe in themselves again.
