The mission of Second Chances Addiction Recovery Center is to provide hope, healing, and restoration to individuals and families struggling with addictions. We believe the treatment of the whole person is necessary for lasting recovery. This includes physical, mental, spiritual, and relational well-being not only for our guests, but their family members as well.
True substance abuse recovery must occur in three areas – our substance abuse programs are designed to address all three key areas from day one for anyone checking into our rehab programs.
PHYSICAL
Physical detoxification from the substance, behavior or environment while slowing down, returning to basic living skills and developing non-addictive coping skills for sober living.
EMOTIONAL
Emotional healing led by breaking down denial, recognizing character strengths and weaknesses, developing a non-self-centered way of living and reforming relationships.
SPIRITUAL
Spiritual restoration that paves the way for their new life journey, healing old relationships, becoming a responsible member of society and finding fulfillment and gratitude.
Our Addiction Recovery Programs
The Journey of Hope, Healing, and Restoration
Our guests begin their journey, surrounded by 10 acres of secluded, tranquil woods that are nestled “off the beaten path” in Rayville, Louisiana. From the first contact with our administrative team to working with individual counselors, each guest’s path is uniquely developed with the singular goal of providing the highest quality addiction treatment program while maintaining a caring and compassionate environment.
Residential Treatment Program
Our Clients experience privacy, tranquility, and holistic healing in a space that is safe and supportive. The Second Chances residential treatment program requires a 30-day minimum stay, but, a 90-day stay is recommended and preferred.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our IOP program ensures continued care and a stable support system for the initial struggles commonly faced during the transition out of addiction as well as those who are not currently addicted but need more intensive treatment to maintain their sobriety.
Second Chances is a Place of Refuge
Our 10 tranquil, wooded acres provide a place of refuge where those struggling with substance addictions (such as drugs and alcohol) or an unmanaged mental health disorder can detox and begin their healing process away from the distractions of life. Within the campus, modern, fully-furnished cabins provide an environment that encourages a return to basic living skills, development of non-addictive coping skills, recognition of character strengths and weaknesses, development of a non-self-centered way of living, and a spiritual approach to life.
